The nursery school day starts at 9.15am. This is a welcome group time and is full of learning opportunities e.g. literacy skills, speaking and listening and mathematical development. At the end of the school day, the first pick up time is 2.25pm. Story time starts at 2.30pm for our children. Our main pick up time is between 2.50pm- 3.00pm. Covid 19 symptoms

a high temperature

a new, continuous cough

a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

According to guidance from the Department of Education, if your child is          experiencing one of these symptoms then they will need to isolate for 5 days.

If you wish to get a lateral flow test for your child, then you can do this on day 5 and day 6. If both tests on day 5 and day 6 are negative then your child can return to nursery on day 6.Thank you for your continued support.

Dinner Money and School Fund

Please pay dinner money to David in the office.

Dinner money is £2.20 a day. Please also remember to pay school fund as this buys the lovely extras for our children. £1 per week for part time children £2  per week for full time children.

This needs to be paid in advance every week.

Thank you for your continued support.

Messy Play

We understand that children can sometimes come home messy after a day at nursery, but there are so many new and different skills they have been developing. We have sent out a seperate letter about this. Ask your key worker if you haven't received it. Please remember to bring your child in appropriate clothing for nursery.

Attendance

We understand that children are unwell sometimes but it is also important for us to      promote good attendance at nursery.

It is important that the children arrive before 9.15am. This is to ensure that all children have plenty of learning opportunities.

Children whose attendance has been above 90%  by the end of term will be awarded an excellent attendance certificate.

Thank you

Book Bags

You will be provided with a school book bag so your child can change their library book every week. Please remember to bring your child’s book bag every Tuesday and   Thursday so they can borrow a book every week.

There are also red book bags available to buy at the school office. They cost £4.00. Please see Isma at the office if you would like to buy one.

Allergies

Please do not send your child into school with drinks, sweets or other food. We have several children who are severely allergic to fish, pulses and eggs etc. Please note we are also a nut free school. Thank you.
