Lillian de Lissa Nursery School

Lillian de Lissa Nursery School is part of The Birmingham Federation of Maintained Nursery Schools. We are 12 nursery schools who  have a shared vision to achieve a single sustainable organisation, city-wide, with strong strategic governance and leadership delivering an inclusive and safe child-led learning experience, strong family partnerships and outstanding outcomes for all children.

I would like to offer a warm welcome to Lillian de Lissa Nursery School, a very active and thriving local authority setting close to Birmingham City Centre.
Although funding for Nursery Schools has been severely cut nationally, we feel very strongly that Early Years Education is vitally important to all families and children so continue to provide high quality learning and development experiences to all of our children.

Children are at the centre of all we do here and it is our goal to provide the most appropriate opportunities for each of them. This means that creativity flows freely and we welcome many different styles of teaching and learning to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. We believe in partnerships and work closely with parents and the local community to achieve what is best for all of our families. If at any time you want to make an appointment to discuss an issue or just chat about your child please don’t hesitate in doing so.
